Choose

My heart was thumping with fear, I supposed. It was thumping anyway.

The thought.... go to London for the last weekend in France.

It was beginning to get cold.
The north side of Lac Gérardmer.
The more natural side. You can circuit
the whole lake, and even take detours
into the well signed paths in the forest.
Yep. My trip was all about France and snow. I resisted anything else. Any suggestion. It was just people telling me what to do and discounting the outrageous and unstoppable human being I already was. In my own safe way.

Studying. Learning anything. Travelling solo. Making my way in a new town. Looking at property to buy. All easy for me.

So when I noticed the thumping heart, I thought I might just have to choose London for my last weekend in France.

What if it was excitement and I just didn't recognise it?

Do I need to know what it is?

I will expand. I know that.

Tip:
Choose.
Choose something.
And love it.
Create love.

It will snow eventually.

Cool ideas from Alexandra Franzen.... again

Just follow the link.

It's got things like doing a course on a cruise boat, instead of a stuffy room.

Committing to writing hundreds of love letters.
My Camembert cheese to be.

& white mould spores used.

Tip:
It's about action.
It's all about action.

Gym Rats & Bookworms.... inspired by Alexandra Franzen.... & Turkish coffee blurt

Yes, yes. My favourite feed.

We get fed in many ways. Well, maybe it's just that I get fed in many ways.

Just back from Turkey. Man that is some fine, smooth, flavoursome food on offer. Loved IT.

I didn't like the taste of the coffee though. However I loved the process of making it. I've adopted it and created a new ritual.

Tip.
Use everything that you love in your life to create rituals to keep you fed. See how Alexandra Franzen uses books to keep fit so that she can feed herself.

Maureen Hawkins & George Thorogood

Before you were conceived, I wanted you. Before you were born, I loved you. Before you were an hour, I would give my life for you. This is the miracle of love.
Maureen Hawkins

This poem infiltrates my thinking and stokes my fires to do what I say I want to do.

It invites me to live the story I want my kids to tell after I've exited the stage left (deadibones).

It provokes me to tell the already lived stories they wouldn't know about me, and helps clarify assumptions they may hold about me after the family's separation and divorce.

What's the story you want told after you're deadibones? (Start acting it out right now).

Who do you want to tell it? (Tell them now).

Retreat = Advance in some cases

Bien être - 'good to be'
Why choose anything else?

Find yourself; know yourself
Love yourself; love the skin you're in
Be well; maximise your potential

Bien être - 'good to be'
Definitely not the same as 'to be good'

Bubbles and Choc Truffles
The Pyrenees
Castles
Hermitages
Cupcakes
Mountain streams
the village community
&
your own down time

and more to come

Now that's well fed.
